Nostradamus and 9/11

Intro1

Out of the country of Greater Arabia
Shall be born a strong master of Mohammed...
He will enter Europe wearing a blue turban.
He will be the terror of mankind.
     Never more horror.

In the year 1999 and seven months
From the sky will come the great King of Terror.

     Before and after war reigns.

The war will last seven and twenty years.

The sky will burn at forty-five degrees.
Fire approaches the great new city.

By fire he will destroy their city,
     A cold and cruel heart,
     Blood will pour,
     Mercy to none.

When those of the Northern Pole are united,
In the East will be great fear and dread...
     One day the two great leaders will be friends;
Their great powers will be seen to grow.
The New Land will be at the height of its power:
To the man of blood the number is reported.

Nostradamus and 9/11

Comments:

I was never really dreading the millenium, at least not from a “Prophecy” standpoint.  I only feared some deed of man, caused by religious stupidity.  I even did an article, which I believe was the first PUBLISHED one of mine about it, “How to get an ‘end of the world’ nutcase to ‘curb his dogma’ in public”.

Nostradamus was a favorite of my “In Search Of” influenced childhood.  One of the films I saw then was the Orson Wells narrated “The Man who Saw Tomorrow”.  Scary, even then.  I recommend finding it and re-watching it!  Actually, I was relieved when 1999 went by without any “terrorist nukes NYC” thing.

Don’t we all have 20/20 hindsight?  It NEVER occurred to me that Nostradamus used the GREGORIAN calendar.  An inferior calendar to the Julian calendar, it loses time.  2001 and seven months is a close call, though it could be pointed out that the destruction of the Buddha statues in Afghanistan marked the beginning of the assault on mankind by those fanatics.

What’s more interesting is the campaign of MISINFORMATION I find on the web, almost uniformly DENYING this.  This proves the statement that man is capable of learning from history and willingly repeating it.

What concerns me is that:

1. It happened.  We even had the “First try a failure” mentioned in the movie.  Remember?  The earlier attempt to bomb the towers?
2. We now face TWENTY AND SEVEN years of WAR.  With modern technology, society, possibly humanity might not survive this.  After this war, there is a thousand years of peace, though it could be "war's peace" or the "Peace of the Grave", and it could also be an expansion into space.
3. Nostradamus stressed that there was no fate, that man had free will.
Animation

The Identity of Mabus is now irrelevant.  He is the origin, the Catalyst.  The prophecy of the "Lord of Terror" has now been fufilled.  What now threatens mankind is the "Twenty and Seven" years of war he will bring.  From our "Beloved Leader's" works, it seems well on the way.
1.  Afghanistan
2.  Iraq.
3.  ?  Syria  ?
4.  ?  N Korea ?

Bush, and his “Axis of Weasel” seems hell-bent on warfare for at least this long.  Already, N. Korea has turned from getting friendly to openly hostile.  They have a good army and NUKES.  Also, missiles that can reach the western USA.  The leader is reputed to be a paranoid loon, but let me say that even a sane man will take precaution when a bully nation openly names him on a list and then proceeds to clobber the two above him.

Man can CHOOSE.  We can CHOOSE peace, love, the uniting of all mankind for great ventures.  We must throw off the parasites who bleed mother earth, the bankers who steal the wealth from nations, the religions of enslavement and death.

Anyways, PLEASE track down this movie and watch it!

BTW-quote:  I found the phrase “He will bring back to life the King of the Mongols;” but I remember “He will resurrect the gods of Hannibal” from the movie.  Hannibal, was the military leader of ancient Cartage.  That place, first and last of the age of the great city-states, had two main gods, sort of a duality.  The first was Tanit, the goddess of the sky and a mother goddess.  The second was Baal, the god of fire to whom the priests supposedly offered children as sacrifice by placing inside a fiery statue to be “Consumed”.  This has recently been brought into debate by some historians, but the classical records that any scholar drew from, from Nostradamus to Gustave Flaubert, had this as historical record.

Vision wise, the imagining of people, including children, trapped in an inconceivably immense (to the medieval man) that is burning and collapsing would indeed bring reference of “The Gods of Hannibal”.

Another thing:  To the Concerned Christians:

I’ve noticed a few Christians I know in online and in RL attack Nostradamus’s stuff, usually for one of three reasons:  1.  Some bible thing against fortunetellers.  2.  Beyond that, alleging he stole from the book of Revelations.  3.  In addition, the term “Antichrist” and the occurrence of THREE of them in N’s prophecies seems to scream, ‘doesn’t go with the scriptures’.

Let me say this:  Nostradamus was a master of allegory, of play on names.

Now, let’s get all these people in the same hypothetical room together.  On one side, we have Jesus Christ.  On the other side, we have Napoleon, Hitler, Khomeni, Osama, Saddam and last and certainly least George W. Bush.

How would you compare these persons?

Would you consider them friends, allies, carriers of the same message?
OR-  Would the term “opposite” come into greater play?
“opposite” = “anti”
get it?  I really doubt N was trying to mess with or ‘diss’ the bible, himself being a very religious, peaceful man.  Seeing through the eyes of time, these leaders and the horror they cause mankind, would not the term “antichrist” come into play?

Does one HAVE to have a 666 birthmark to be AN “antichrist” as opposed to “the”?
